The 2012 CMA Awards brought out the best in country music. The performances were great, but we’re always more interested in the designer wear the stars donned on the red carpet. Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood looked great, but these ladies need to boot scootin’ boogie to a stylist, stat.
CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Miranda Lambert is one feisty chick — and we love her! However, her wardrobe choices for the 2012 CMA Awards left a lot to be desired. We’re not exactly sure what is going on with this colorful corset top. Not flattering at all.
Faith Hill is one of the most stylish women in country music, but this uninspired black dress with puffy white sleeves does nothing for her tall, thin frame. Bring back the stylist, Faith, please and thank you.
The Band Perry’s Kimberly Perry has the voice of an angel, but the dress she picked for the CMA Awards looks like she bought it in Charlotte Russe hell.
Nashville star Hayden Panettiere looks incredible, but her flapper-inspired dress was cut the wrong way for her body. What would Juliette Barnes think?
Little Big Town had a huge night of wins at the CMA Awards. Karen Fairchild looked great while performing the band’s hit “Pontoon,” but we weren’t so inspired by her Grecian-inspired, gold gown.
Fairchild’s Little Big Town partner Kimberly Schlapman has an incredible body, but her red-carpet dress looks a lot like one of those posters that make you go cross-eyed. Also, lay off the eyeliner, Kimberly. We can’t see your pretty eyes!
