The actress is moving on and moving up — and working to remove the last parts of her ex-husband from her life.
It’s been almost two years since Eva Longoria filed for divorce from husband Tony Parker, and she is finally getting rid of the last traces of him. When they were together, Longoria received three Tony Parker– “inspired” tattoos, and starting in January, she began undergoing laser surgery to remove them.
According to TMZ, Longoria was tattooed with “nine” on her neck, their wedding initials on her wrist and Tony’s initials “on a very private, undisclosed location.” But the removal process is not a quick one because multiple procedures are involved. TMZ snapped some pictures of Longoria over the weekend and her tattoos, and it looks like they are almost gone.
The actress has been up to a lot more than just tattoo removal though. She has been dating another athlete, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. She confirmed the relationship back in September.
“Mark and I are, you know, fine. We’re happy — just dating,” she told Extra. She has also been campaigning for President Obama’s re-election campaign and appeared at the Democratic National Convention along with many other stars. Longoria is a co-chair of the president’s national re-election committee.
The actress, who started her career in soap operas, has come a long way since joining the cast of Desperate Housewives in 2004. She has multiple projects still in the works, including Long Time Gone with Virginia Madsen and others. She is also the executive producer for Ready For Love, as well as helping Lay’s choose its new flavor for its potato chips with its “Do Us a Flavor” contest.
So Eva Longoria looks like she is moving on from her short marriage and is doing it as quickly as possible. The tattoos (the ones we can see) are almost gone, and the actress has a cute new love as well as a full career ahead of her.
