Kate Gosselin's reaction to coupon canning: "No worries"
If Kate Gosselin is worried about her future in the spotlight, she isn't showing it. The former reality star tweeted "no worries" after being canned from CouponCabin.
Kate Gosselin doesn't seem too upset that CouponCabin sacked her from her blogging gig with the deal website.
"Good afternoon! I'm alive! I've been super busy working away! I'm having lots of fun and can't wait to share! No worries..we will chat soon! XO," she tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.
The tweet came after CouponCabin CEO Scott Kluth severed their relationship in a blog post.
"A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago, and that Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin," he wrote.
A bit cryptic, no?
The firing was a long time coming for CouponCabin fans. Gosselin — hired to give one-of-a-kind money-saving tips — spent more time talking about her personal life than giving tips. As for the tips she did give? They were nothing more than "Save money by making your coffee at home!" and "Use Target brand products to save money!" Basically, nothing we haven't known for years now.
Readers weren't shy about expressing their feelings, either.
"I will never help support [CouponCabin] while you demonstrate such wastefulness of your own by paying this idiot to write this drivel and contribute to her misguided and enormous ego," one commenter wrote.
"Come on, Mrs. Gosselin... you are incredibly self-absorbed... your 'tips' are useless and if Coupon Cabin is paying you anything for your contributions to their website — THEY are throwing THEIR money away... Not a good position for a company supposedly existing to help others save money," said another.
Some readers even accused her of being a grifter and posting about certain brands for freebies or money.
Our question: What will Kate do now to stay in the spotlight? Her opportunities are dwindling.
