Ke$ha has a memoir coming, and it's illustrated
The singer has always been very colorful, through her personality and music. But this time, she will be showing us through pictures how she really feels about her life.
The only thing that could possibly be more interesting than learning about Ke$ha’s life up to this point is seeing it in pictures. And that is exactly what the singer plans to do. In November, she will be releasing an "illustrated memoir" called My Crazy Beautiful Life, and you can probably only imagine what that might mean.
"According to Touchstone, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, the book will feature Ke$ha's 'thoughts and reflections' and pictures spanning from her childhood to her recent tour," said the Associated Press. "Ke$ha says in a statement that she will reveal how her life is 'not all glamorous' but that it's 'all real.'"
Ke$ha announced her newest single on the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet. She released "Die Young" on Sept. 25. The song comes from her new album, Warrior, which will be out Dec. 4.
According to MTV, Ke$ha has been "promoting [her new album] with a series of short YouTube clips, which show her singing the song (and terrifying commuters) in the Tokyo subway system."
The singer sparked speculation that the album might be a collaboration with Rihanna, because of how it was announced. She kicked off an Instagram campaign by announcing the album's title one letter at a time, with the first three being "R," "I" and "A."
"But, as the day went on, Ke$ha quickly revealed even more letters — the glittery "O" sort of quashed any possibility of a Rih Rih collabo — and she finally finished the game just after midnight, posting a pic of her in her witchy finest, palm open and painted with the letter "W," said MTV.
While it seems like it has been much longer, Ke$ha has only been in our lives since 2010, when she released her breakout album Animal and the Cannibal EP later that year. Her hits from those albums include "TiK ToK," "Your Love Is My Drug," "We R Who We R" and "Die Young."
The 25-year-old will be releasing My Crazy Beautiful Life on Nov. 20, two weeks before her album Warrior comes out.
