It's the final irony — Lindsay Lohan's mom wants to help Amanda Bynes' parents learn to deal with their daughter's troubles! It's possible they are the only parents she's qualified to give advice to.

Dina LohanDina Lohan's 26-year-old daughter Lindsay has already been to rehab five times and has been arrested many other times. So, Dina may not exactly be in the running for Mother of the Year. But it turns out, she thinks she did a good enough job of raising Lindsay to offer advice to another troubled actress' parents. Entertainment Tonight recently interviewed Dina and asked her what the thinks about Amanda Bynes' recent troubles.

"You know, I'm a mother, and I feel that that's for her mother to speak about, and not me, because people have spoken for my child and myself, so I really feel that's for her parents to discuss and Amanda herself," Dina Lohan said.

But then Entertainment Tonight asked if Dina could give any advice to Bynes' parents. She replied, "Just be around. ... It's hard when your daughter's not, you know, over 18, and you want to let [her] go," she said. "And they want to, you know, feel like they're in control of themselves. So it's a very strategic place for a parent to be, but she'll be OK."

Lohan appeared on Dr. Phil last week and was criticized for appearing intoxicated, but she wanted to set the record straight on that. "I was absolutely not under ... intoxicated, or on any kind of medication," she told ET. "I was extremely upset."

Dina Lohan has been speaking out lately about her daughter's situation, and even said recently she should not have pushed Lindsay into show business. She was also recently criticized for drinking with her daughter on her own 50th birthday, especially with the addiction issues her daughter has had.

"My 80-year-old mother was there, and she's Italian-American, and to be able to have a glass of red wine there for her is normal for our family," she told the New York Daily News. "I don't know what's a right way or a wrong way. Some people who want to quit drinking do it cold turkey and some do it gradually — you want to keep a balance."

The episode of Entertainment Tonight with Dina Lohan will air Sept. 27.
