Selena Gomez is Dracula's daughter in Hotel Transylvania
When a high-end resort visited only by the undead is discovered, the owner – none other than Dracula himself – goes into overprotective gear to keep Hotel Transylvania and his daughter a secret from humans.
Mavis is a young vampire girl living among the ancient undead in her father's resort. She wants nothing more than to go outside the resort walls and see the world, but her dad is just too protective to let his little girl go. It doesn't matter that she's 118 years old and a girl with an itch for adventure.
Mavis, voiced by Selena Gomez, is Dracula's daughter, and she lives in a resort her father created far away from humans to keep his little girl safe in Hotel Transylvania.
Dracula, voiced by Adam Sandler, provides a calm, peaceful getaway for the world’s scariest monsters. On the eve of his daughter's birthday, the proud father invites all of his closest monster friends to the hotel for a big birthday bash.
The one thing he doesn’t expect is that a human also arrives among the group. A real life human, in their monster resort. The human is Jonathan, voiced by Andy Samberg. He discovers the hotel and more important, Dracula's daughter.
Dracula protects his daughter from humans
SheKnows brings you this exclusive clip from Hotel Transylvania, where humans and monsters get a whole new look at life. In this scene, Mavis wants to leave the hotel to explore the world, but her father convinces her otherwise. Little does Dracula know that he'll soon have a new visitor to spark Mavis's interest for travel.
When human and vampire meet, things start looking a lot like Twilight in the cozy resort. Now, Dracula has to get Jonathan off his property and hope his daughter forgets all the brave new world this human has introduced.
Hotel Transylvania creeps into theaters Sept. 28.
