Is Robert Pattinson ready to forgive and forget?
It's the question everyone wants the answer to: Will Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart make it through the cheating scandal? Maybe, according to friends.
Robert Pattinson was — by all accounts — heartbroken when girlfriend Kristen Stewart admitted she cheated on him with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. The man known as Edward Cullen reportedly asked Stewart to move out of their shared Los Angeles home before he hightailed it to Reese Witherspoon's Ojai, California, home.
That was two weeks ago, though. Word on the street is that after giving her the silent treatment, he's willing to forgive and forget Stewart's dalliance with another dude.
"Rob was super angry for the first couple of weeks. Angry at Kristen for ruining what they had, angry at her for the public embarrassment, angry at Rupert [Sanders]," a source told RadarOnline on Friday.
Pattinson has been spotted partying it up in Ojai, leading onlookers to assume he's over the heartbreak. Apparently he's been "drinking like crazy" to numb the pain, according to a friend.
"He's been drunk dialing Kristen. Rob had been avoiding her calls, but now they’re talking… Well, they're barely talking. There's a lot of dead silence on the phone, because there's not a lot to talk about," the friend said.
His close friends are understandably worried about reconciliation.
"There's definitely some friends who think he should just move on from Kristen, but then there are others who still think Rob and Kristen really have a special connection and want him to give her another chance," the source continued.
Stewart reportedly sought comfort in former Panic Room co-star Jodie Foster after the scandal broke, but she's confident she can win him back, according to other sources. So many "sources," so little time. Things aren't looking up for Sanders, though — his wife, Liberty Ross, has reportedly sought advice from a divorce attorney.
