Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to her baby girl Penelope Scotland Disick on Sunday, and Kris Jenner says she looks just like Mason.
The week is off to a furious start for the paps, as gossipers are frantically trying to get any details about Sienna Miller’s baby girl.
Kardashian’s to the rescue!
The couple welcomed their second child early Sunday. And, as we all know, keeping anything secret for 24 hours is a big feat for a family who’s famous for being famous.
This latest addition to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ franchise joins the couple’s other child, 2-year-old son, Mason.
The sister who started it all, Kim Kardashian, shouted from the rooftops (aka Twitter): “Kim Kardashian: Welcome to the world Penelope Scotland Disick!!!!”
The youngest of the Kardashian sisters, Khloe, tweeted: “Such an amazing day!!!!!”
The birth’s for realz, this time
You’ll remember a month ago Kourtney set off fireworks with baby news of a different kind.
She tweeted about a “water birth” that led some to believe the 33-year-old already had her child.
Turns out, the big sis and new mom simply watched another mom give birth the natural way. Anything for some attention, right?
The “usual suspects,” like E! host Giuliana Rancic also tweeted their well-wishes: “Congrats Kourt & Scott!!!” and retweeted a “tease” of the baby’s name.
Perhaps some of the funniest comments came from the likes of comedian and best-selling author Andy Borowitz, who noted: “Kourtney Kardashian’s baby hasn’t done anything yet and is already famous, proving that she is in fact a Kardashian.”
The (not) Betty White, F*** Betty White, also tweeted: “Kourtney Kardashian gives birth to baby girl Penelope. E! announces new show ‘Penelope Takes on Pampers.'”
As for the name “Penelope Scotland,” Kris Jenner tells E! that the proud parents simply thought the first name was cute and the second name was, well, Mama Kris’s idea. And we all know how Mama Kris has no dearth of ideas.
Apparently, the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch suggested the name while Kourt was pregnant and it stuck.
