In May, Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi revealed she and fiance Jionni LaValle are having a baby boy. For the name? They planned on giving their child “normal names, not like when celebrities name their kids. It’s going to be a nice traditional Italian name.”
Well, it sounds like they’ve decided on a name.
“I think we’re going to do Lorenzo,” Snooki told JuJu Chang Monday on Good Morning America. “Because then you can call him Enzo.”
Yep, the pickle-loving reality star is ready to be a mother — except for one important part: She’s not going to breastfeed her son.
“It just looks so painful,” she told Chang. “… But I definitely want to pump, because it has the best nutrients for your baby.”
The GMA host then took her and LaValle to a baby store in New York and showed her a breast pump. “It is kind of like your cow, you just milk it,” Snooki joked back.
Yes, that’s exactly how it is, Snooks.
LaValle didn’t just sit there during the interview — he also talked about how their lives have changed since they found out about the baby. “Last year it was ‘Let’s go to Vegas for New Years’… Now we’re going to Disney with the family,” he said.
Also, no more booze.
“Obviously no drinking. None whatsoever. Like I am scared to even have caffeine,” the MTV star revealed. “All my friends are like ‘You can have a glass of wine.’ I’m like ‘No I refuse’ because I am going to be that person who has a glass of wine and it will come out with three legs.”
She’s not even hanging out around alcohol — her Jersey Shore roommates stayed away from alcohol when they all went clubbing on the first night of shooting for the new season. She’s also not staying at the Shore house.
“I don’t like to be around people that drink because then I will miss it,” she admitted.
Snooki also misses the tanning, too.
“I use bronzer on my legs but I didn’t today and look really pale,” she said. “I am actually embracing the paleness that comes along with it. It’s a new look.”
Oh boy, we can’t wait to see baby Lorenzo — and how Snooki actually does as a mother.
