Brian Presley denies hitting on model after lousy pick-up lines go viral
Perhaps known as much for his conservative Christian values as his stint as Jack on the soap Port Charles, Brian Presley is very publicly denying the very public come-ons Melissa Stetten claims he made during a red-eye flight the two shared Wednesday.
Brian Presley had a starring role in sports tear-jerker Touchback, and now he's playing a starring role in a series of (really bad) come-ons model Melissa Stetten posted to Twitter, which later went viral.
No one would want to claim that lack of game, least of all the married father of two — who posted on Facebook that he was just being friendly.
"I love that I took a red eye flight to NY, had a 10 minute friendly conversation with the person sitting next to me, had some food, and went to sleep!"
"I learned today this person has been tweeting about me drinking beer in the airplane bathroom, and trying to commit adultery with her on the airplane. Really absurd and quite funny! ... They Even took pictures of me while I was sleeping. A little WIERD! I was on a soap opera for years and never did the writers write something this good:)."
Presley goes on to say (via Facebook): "None of what this person said happened is true! I guess in today's age you have to be careful who you say hello too.
"Sobriety, God, & My Family are the most important things in my life! My Wife Rocks, My Kids Rock, and Sobriety Rocks!!! I will pay this no more attention and I encourage all of you to do the same. God Bless all of you and thank you all for all your support! - Brian"
Yep, even the Christian Post is taking up the story — thanks to Brian's proclivity to often bring God into, well, seemingly everything.
If Stetten is lying, she may need to drop the modeling thing and pursue a career in either comedy or creative writing — if her elaborate "fibs" don't put her away someplace first.
Highlights from Stetten's live play-by-play of her entertaining flight with the entertainer include:
"Brian is now talking about how he is an artist and believes everything happens for a reason, like how we're brought together on this flight."
"Brian just said 'like us sitting here right now, talking about where we're from, it's like divine interception.' right, interception."
"Brian said he was engaged to another actress but it didn't work out because they didn't 'mesh well' together."
Even though Presley may not have any apologizing to do to his wife, SOMEONE needs to apologize to this guy. He's another "Brian Presley" on Twitter. Poor thing's been mistaken for the soap star who allegedly has no game (and no morals) since Wednesday!
