Brooke Hogan puts her assets to work at TNA wrestling
Brooke Hogan is taking what God and the fine Hogan gene set gave her and heading into the pro-wrestling world. Find out what new role the 24-year-old will play with the TNA Wrestling family!
Brooke Hogan's TNA Wrestling gig is officially a done deal! The sole daughter of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has inked a deal to join in the family business, though to be clear -- her role is in the brains department.
Yes, Brooke Hogan's fine mind is going to be put to work at TNA Wrestling (that's an acronym for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, for those out there inclined to assuming this is gutter talk) in the talent division. TNA President Dixie Carter confirmed the news to TMZ on Thursday, adding that the 24-year-old is not scheduled to get in the ring.
Brooke Hogan's wrestling duties will apparently take place in the talent department, as she'll be tasked with helping up-and-coming female wrestlers develop their characters. The former Brooke Knows Best reality star, whose feuding parents split in 2007, will also assist with backstage promos and even consult on selecting entrance music.
Of course, it can be noted that Hulk Hogan has been working with TNA Wrestling for a number of years. The 58-year-old was first associated with the organization in 2003, and went on to sign a contract in 2009.
Of Brooke Hogan's hiring Dixie Carter commented, "Brooke is such a great talent who's really sharp and will make a great addition to the TNA family."
Still, not all fans are happy the female heir to the Hogan legacy won't be in the ring. One commenter wrote Thursday, "She'd make a lot more money as a wrestler. She's got the body for it if she'd work out some and she is the daughter of the most famous wrestler of all time. Wrestling organizations would be crawling all over each other to try to get her to wrestle for them."
