Guess who's checking back in for House's finale?
The (almost) impossible has happened. Jennifer Morrison is returning to Fox to say goodbye to Dr. Gregory House. The actress is the latest in a line of stars slated to reprise their roles before the drama goes off the air.
Could it be? Could one of the original cast members of Fox's House be returning for the show's series finale?
This morning, the internet was buzzing with reports that former co-star Jennifer Morrison is getting back to her medical roots.
According to TVLine, Morrison, who played Dr. Allison Cameron until 2010, recently shot a cameo appearance for House's May 21 finale. The last time we saw the good doctor, she ended things with former husband and peer Robert Chase.
Reps from Fox are keeping mum on Morrison's return, so we're not sure how she'll factor into the show's farewell. When House's cancellation was officially announced, there was no word on whether or not she would reprise her role.
In March, Morrison told Entertainment Weekly that she hadn't been approached by Fox or House's producers.
“No one’s contacted me [about returning], and we’re way too close for it to even be a possibility,” she lamented at the time. “It was an incredible part of my life... It changed my life in so many wonderful ways.”
Oh, how quickly things change.
Morrison is currently making waves on ABC in the fantasy drama Once Upon a Time. Her bosses must have given her the OK to revisit her old stomping grounds for one last hurrah.
