Krysten Ritter: How to look good naked in Apt 23

Chloe isn't only oddly lovable because she's mean in a protective, preserving way. We're also fond of her because she's besties with Van Der Beek and looks great naked.

Krysten Ritter talks being a B---- in Apt 23

Though Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23 premieres tomorrow, the first two episodes are already available online and have everyone already raving about the new ABC show. Probably because the affable villain is as lovely to watch naked as she is clothed.

"It was one of my favorite things about the pilot!," said Krysten Ritter to Carrie Keagan on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live. "I didn't really think about shooting it; I was like, 'That's awesome to play a character who would do something like that.' But when it was coming up, I got nervous."

So what's her secret to looking good -- and feeling good -- naked? "I got a Mystic Tan, and it made me feel like I was wearing clothes," she confessed. "A Mystic Tan and high heels makes naked a little prettier."

Though hilarious onscreen, Ritter admitted that she wouldn't have been able to handle living with the character she plays when she first moved from her small hometown in Pennsylvania to the Big Apple. "I didn't meet any Chloe's, I got pretty lucky. I probably would've taken off running, but my New York experience was all positive."

Another character she's never encountered -- James Van Der Beek's claim to fame, Dawson Leery!

"I've never seen Dawson's Creek! There's a Varsity Blues reference in the first episode that went right over my head," she revealed. "I have some homework to do. I just know him as my version of James, and I prefer it that way."

Watch the full interview now, including details on Van Der Beek's disgusting but incredibly thoughtful gift to Ritter!
