Mike Sorrentino, aka The Situation, has completed his stint in rehab and says he is ready to get back to work. Read on for his statement.
The Situation is out of rehab and ready to head back to work. After an undetermined amount of time in treatment, Mike Sorrentino has announced he is free and ready to get his GTL on back at The Jersey Shore.
“The Situation is home and has a message for his fans and business partners,” reads a statement on Sorrentino’s website.
“Michael ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino is home and would like to thank his fans, friends, family and business partners for their continued support and words of encouragement.”
“He is now stronger and better than ever, and excited for this new amazing chapter in his life.”
“With your positive reinforcement and a whole new outlook on life — there are so many great things on the horizon, and I am sure you will all be excited for the many new projects Sitch has in development.”
“Words alone cannot express how much you all mean to Mike, and his gratitude for the care you showed him is infinite.”
“You guys truly are the best!” the statement concludes.
Sorrentino also chimed in himself on his Facebook page, writing, “Hey Everyone! The Situation is home!!! I just want to thank everyone for their support and words of encouragement. I’m back stronger and better than ever!”
In a March blog post Sorrentino admitted he was popping pills like a mofo, despite denials from his rep just a day before. Now that he’s beat his demons, The Situation will be joining the rest of The Jersey Shore cast for season six this summer.
