Adam Levine is back on the market
No ladies, you're not dreaming: Adam Levine is single and ready to mingle after splitting from his model girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna.
After two years of ruining our deepest, darkest fantasies, Adam Levine is finally single again. His supermodel girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna says they are dunzo.
A rep for the Russian-born blonde confirmed the news to People.
"Adam and I have decided to separate in an amicable and supportive manner. We still love and respect each other as friends. I wish him all the best," Vyalitsyna said in a statement.
The biologically blessed couple had been together for two years after meeting at the 2010 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue release party. Vyalitsyna has modeled in the magazine for eight consecutive issues.
What drove the split? The Voice judge and Maroon 5 frontman is known for having a taste for gorgeous gals -- even reportedly having a hand in breaking up the marriage of Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey -- and for months has been brushing off reports that there was trouble in paradise between him and Vyalitsyna. In fact, the pair told Howard Stern in February that their beginning was just as inauspicious as their ending.
"He thought I was a stuck-up b****, and I kind of thought he was a d-bag musician," Vyalitsyna said on Stern's Sirius Radio show.
In the same interview Levine said he didn't want to lose his leggy gal. "This is the longest, most functional relationship I've ever been in," he said. "I don't want to screw it up."
What a difference a couple of months makes.
