Don't Trust the B in Apt 23

Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23 isn't just a title, it's a warning. The series shines a light on a situation most of us have dealt with at some point in our lives -- a roommate. But not just any roommate, an evil spawn whose sole purpose is to destroy us.

Don't Trust the B---- takes a dark premise and lightens it up with the comedic stylings of Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad), Dreama Walker (The Good Wife) and James Van Der Beek (yes, Dawson Leery from Dawson's Creek is on this show).

The series centers on a Midwesterner (Walker) acclimating herself to life in the big city and the antics of her party-girl roommate (Ritter).

Ritter's character Chloe typically scams her roommates and sells their stuff but something's different about her latest victim. She develops a soft spot for the naive newbie.

Here's an extended trailer for the show that features footage and cast interviews. Watch as the actors explain why you should or shouldn't trust the (ahem) in Apt 23.

Below is a a clip of Van Der Beek and Ritter in action. Their characters are a match made in narcissistic heaven.

Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23 was created by Nahnatchka Khan and co-stars Liza Lapira, Michael Blaiklock and Eric André.

The series premieres Wednesday, April 11 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
