Did Jennifer Lopez suffer a nipple slip at the Oscars?

Peek-a-boo! Did Jennifer Lopez’s nipple make an impromptu appearance at Sunday’s Academy Awards? You be judge…

Awkwardness at the Oscars…

Jennifer Lopez‘s nipple is creating quite the stir around the Interwebs.

The talent show pundit joined her What to Expect When Expecting co-star Cameron Diaz to present the awards for costume design and makeup at Sunday night’s Academy Awards. But dramah ensued when her usually J.Lo-esque gown (Translation: Low-cut and tight-fitting…) seemed to reveal a bit more than Jen may have intended.

In an ensemble reminiscent of the infamous bust-baring number she wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards, the American Idol judge donned a golden Zuhair Murad dress, complete with plunging neckline, for her Oscars outing. But as Jennifer spoke, her left breast appeared to inch slowly out of its wrapping.

Or did it?

The topic has certainly become the subject of hot debate! It didn’t take long for allegations of a wardrobe malfunction to emerge.

Tweeting celebs seemed to lead the charge.

“I spy J.Lo’s aureole! It’s not gonna get more exciting than this tonight,” Bravo honcho Andy Cohen wrote.

The Voice host Carson Daly also seemed pretty sure of what he saw, tweeting, “Dear J.Lo, your left nipple is out. K, bye. Xoxo carson.”

Hogwash, according to Jen’s stylist, Mariel Haenn.

Haenn told People magazine that Lopez’s custom Murad gown featured special built-in cups that prevented any “slips” when she took the stage at the Hollywood and Highland Center.

“The dress fit perfectly to every inch. While the dress did give the illusion of sheerness, joke’s on everyone who wishes they saw something! If you thought that was hot, wait until you see what’s next.”

J.Lo’s boobage acquired its own Twitter account within minutes of the incident. Contribute to the con-tweet-versy by visiting @JLosNipple.
