Deadline first reported the news of Taylor Kinney's addition to the Dick Wolf-produced pilot, which is based on the Chicago Fire Department -- told you it was hot news!

Taylor Kinney is said to be playing an "adrenaline-junkie" named Kelly Severide, who also happens to be a squad lieutenant.
