Keri Russell's baby girl arrived just two days too late to be the best Christmas present ever -- but still in time for her parents to get their 2011 child tax credit!

A rep has confirmed Willa Lou Deary was born on Dec. 27. No further details about the baby girl have yet been made available.

The actress, pictured here last spring in New York, confirmed she was expecting her second child with husband Shane Deary in July. The pair is already parents to 4-year-old son River Russell.

"I get to work really hard for three months but then I get to be home for four months where I get to put him to bed every night," she said previously of combining acting work and motherhood.

"I like getting to be in the adult world a little bit and then getting to be in the mom world and cook dinners," the 35-year-old added. "And for me that balance is what makes it nice."

The actress has ample time to spend at home with baby Willa at the moment. Her latest project, the Fox comedy series Running Wilde, was canceled in May 2011.

In 2009, the former Felicity star shared how motherhood had -- and hadn't changed her. "You become a mom and you sort of think, 'Is it going to change everything?' But it doesn't. You still like what you like."

Keri Russell continued, "But I think the one thing is, it makes you very sensitive and in tune to kids. If any kid is in peril, you're like, 'That's my kid!'"

Congratulations to Keri Russell on the birth of baby Willa Lou!
