Teen Mom Leah Messer engaged and pregnant... again
Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is ready to be a married woman again: She's engaged to her boyfriend, Jeremy Calvert.
Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is busy creating more drama for another season of the popular MTV show. The 19-year-old divorced mother of two is engaged and pregnant again, her fiancé confirmed to Reality Weekly magazine.
"Yes, Leah is having my baby," Jeremy Calvert told the magazine. "We got engaged on Christmas Day."
The West Virginia-based Messer married the father of her twins, Corey Simms, in 2010. They divorced six months later.
"My mom and dad married, divorced, remarried and divorced again," Messer told US Weekly after she split from Simms. "I don't want my girls [Aliannah and Aleeah, 16 months] to go through that. My mom talked to me because she wed at 16 and didn't want me to go through a divorce like she did."
She insists that this marriage won't be like her last one. Simms and Messer split after she allegedly found messages between him and another girl. He also reportedly withdrew $19,000 to buy a truck without telling her.
"We have a really good connection," she told US Weekly in December. "It's different from Corey and my relationship, because we were kinda like forcing it… With Jeremy, you know when you're supposed to be with somebody and you're not."
Simms has reportedly moved on, too — he's dating a new girl who wants to be a good role model for the twins.
"My best interest is in the girls," Summer Tavarez told Hollywood Life. "They're always going to have a relationship because of them and it's important to me because, if not, it's going to be hard on the girls and hard on everybody."
Simms only met Tavarez a couple of months ago and she's already met the twins.
"I met the girls. His dad had a Christmas party and I went to it," she said. "It's a good time, especially for me to be around them when they are so young. I really just tried to talk to them. I can't wait till I actually can be around them [more]."
Slow down, Leah and Corey: Don't enter your twenties with two divorces under your belts.
