Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver back in ring of things
The Schwarzeneggers are wearing their wedding bling again. Has Arnie smooth-talked his way out of the doghouse and back into Maria's loving arms?
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver have both been snapped wearing rings on their wedding fingers, which begs the question: Is another Kennedy princess turning a blind eye to her husband's sexual dalliances?
The estranged former First Couple of California had not been seen with their rings since Maria filed for divorce in July. But photographs taken over the past few days show the exes wearing their wedding jewels as if they're trying to remind us they're still very married.
The former NBC News correspondent dumped the one-time Governator after learning that he fathered a love child with the family maid, Mildred "Patty" Baena, in 1997. Shriver had been been pregnant with the youngest of her four children with Schwarzenegger when her husband began having a brief affair with "the help."
Soon after filing for divorce, Maria purchased a $10 million Los Angeles mansion in the swanky Brentwood neighborhood, not far from the family home she shared with Schwarzenegger.
But last month, reports surfaced that Maria was having doubts about divorcing Arnie. Tabloid tipsters said Maria's "deeply held religious views" and Arnie's "very sweet" attempts to win her back had prompted the Kennedy princess to reconsider throwing in the towel on her 25-year marriage.
(Never underestimate the power of flowers, chocolates and Catholicism!)
"I can confirm they're spending more time together recently," a source close to the family told The New York Daily News. "They spent Christmas together and the whole family went to the Lakers game last night."
