Kristen visited one of Robert’s favorite music stores in Los Angeles, Norman’s Rare Guitars, just before Christmas on Dec. 22, 2011. After strumming a few chords on guitars, Stewart picked out two rare items: A 1947 K & F Lap Steel and 1959 Fender Jazzmaster. A source for Us Weekly reports the 21-year-old star was excited to purchase the instruments.
“Kristen knew what she was getting and the people at the store know Rob’s taste because he is a regular customer,” the owner of the store, Norm, told the press, “She said, ‘He’s gonna s**t when he sees them.'”
Somehow we’re not surprised at Kristen’s choice of edgy language.
A source for the magazine also says Kristen was very friendly with the staff and was happy to pose with them for pictures.
Not to be out done, Pattinson picked up vintage goods for Stewart at Los Angeles boutique TINI, which stands for “This Is Not Ikea.”
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart spent Christmas apart for the second year in a row as Stewart stayed in Los Angeles with her family and Pattinson jetted off to London. He was spotted looking low-key at a local pub in jeans and baseball cap, surrounding by friends, on Christmas Eve.
The Breaking Dawn couple managed to ring in the new year together as Robert flew to Los Angeles to mingle with Kristen at a house party. Although Pattinson and Stewart planned to spend the night in New York City, last minute changes called for a more relaxed evening.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 is set for release on Nov. 16, 2012.
