Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill is going to be a dad
Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill and his wife, Victoria's Secret angel Lily Aldridge, are expecting a little angel of their own, according to reports. Lily joins Alessandra Ambrosio as one of two VS supermodels who are ending 2011 in the early stages of pregnancy.
There's a little prince or princess on the way for Kings of Leon star Caleb Followill.
The newlywed musician and his bride, Victoria's Secret lingerie model Lily Aldridge, are expecting their first child together, sources close to the pair have reportedly revealed to E! News. The brunette beauty is at the end of her first trimester, insiders say.
On Tuesday, Lily's Victoria's Secret comrade Alessandra Ambrosio announced that she is pregnant with her second child. Lily and Caleb are expected to make a similar announcement of their own very soon.
After a two-year courtship, Caleb proposed to Aldridge in September 2010. The leggy catwalker and the Grammy-winning frontman tied the knot in sunny Santa Barbara last May.
The star-studded guest list boasted Caleb's brothers/bandmates, Jared, Nathan and Matthew Followill, as well as Maroon 5 star Adam Levine, British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and her boyfriend Jason Statham and several of Lily's Victoria's Secret pals, including Chanel Iman.
Lily's pregnancy comes at the end of a tough year for Kings of Leon. And rumors of a looming stint in rehab for Caleb.
Caleb's bandmates reportedly urged the "Sex on Fire" hit-maker to check into rehab following a Dallas show during which he walked off stage in the middle of the set.
"For the record, 'm not drunk… I'm about to fall over here because I'm so daggum hot… I'm gonna go backstage for a second and I'm gonna vomit, I'm gonna drink a beer and I'm gonna come back out and play three more songs," Caleb told the audience before his impromptu departure.
The band was booed by a packed arena after Followill wandered off stage and never returned.
"They are trying to get Caleb to go to rehab. It is mostly for alcohol," a source told Us Weekly shortly after the fiasco.
A second source added, "It's true. Caleb's drinking is out of control and they are trying to get him into rehab. It's a dark demon he has been fighting for a while."
Caleb's brother and fellow King, Jared Followill, later tweeted about what he called "internal sicknesses" within the group.
"There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. I know you guys aren't stupid. I can't lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade."
According to the band's rep, Caleb is struggling with "vocal problems and exhaustion."
