The return of Castle: “Till Death Do Us Part

Mystery, mayhem and Richard Castle. We love a good Castle episode just as much as the next fiend, but at the expense of poor detective Ryan’s wedding? That’s just cold — and perfect.

Richard Castle and Kate Beckett are our go-to Castle couple (even if they don’t see it), but we’re also rooting for detective Ryan’s happy ending.

When Castle returns on Monday, Jan. 9 with “Till Death Do Us Part,” there’s supposed to be a wedding, but a murder gets in the way. Will detective Ryan marry Jenny?

It seems like just yesterday that Jenny was walking into the 12th precinct, meeting detective Ryan’s friends for the first time.

Who could forget the proposal that started off rocky and ended “big” and “intimate?”

Now the time has come for the two to walk down the aisle, but according to ABC, it’s not that simple.

A release from ABC in regard to the new episode, “Till Death Do Us Part,” says: “When a lothario is killed, Castle and Beckett suspect that the victim’s mysterious double life holds the key to his murder. Their investigation leads to a shocking twist that threatens to disrupt Ryan’s wedding with Jenny (Seamus Dever’s real-life wife, Juliana Dever, guest stars), on “Castle,” Monday, Jan. 9 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.”

Head over to our comments section and tell us what you’ve missed most about Castle since it’s been on a tiny hiatus.

For us, it’s been the heat between Beckett and Castle — not to mention Castle’s portrayer, Nathan Fillion. He’s easy on the eyes.
