Teen Mom Amber Portwood: Pancakes and punches
Leave it to Teen Mom reality star Amber Portwood to find trouble at a pancake house!
Amber Portwood has reportedly gotten into a brawl at an IHOP restaurant. The mother of Leah Shirley, featured on MTV's controversial reality series Teen Mom, is said to have picked a fight with a stranger last month inside an Indiana establishment.
Radar Online reports video footage from Nov. 18 that shows an intoxicated Amber Portwood (pictured here in her 2010 mug shot from her arrest for domestic battery) in an altercation inside an IHOP restaurant.
An unnamed source said of Teen Mom Amber, "She was drunk, and there was another girl in the restaurant who had been drinking too and apparently said something about Amber to her friend."
They went on to say, "Amber instigated the fight. She told the girl, 'You don't know anything about me! I'm gonna whup your a**!' They just attacked each other."
The video reportedly shows the 21-year-old reality star waving her arms while yelling and then charging towards the other patron. A witness to the incident shared, "There were a couple punches thrown and hair pulling, then they were separated."
No word yet on the IHOP throw-down from Amber Portwood, who deleted her Twitter account in June after attempting suicide.
Gary Shirley, father of Leah and on-again/off-again boyfriend of Portwood wrote at the time, "Never cheated on Amber. She may have thought I did, but haven't. I will always love and respect her even if we aren't together."
In regard to her official account on the micro-blogging network he added, "Due to recent events, it was best that Amber delete her Twitter. Appreciate all those who continue to support."
The Teen Mom star was put under a 72-hour watch at the hospital before heading to rehab. "I am going to rehab for anger control issues and depression," she told the press. "I'm on medication at the moment to just help me relax. I'm in a vulnerable state right now and I know people want a lot of answers."
