Is Lindsay Lohan headed to Celebrity Big Brother?
A new job offer for Lindsay Lohan? Fans will get to see Lindsay bare all in her January Playboy pictorial and now it looks like they could get to see how she lives when she actually has clothes on. The troubled star, 25, is in talks to join the UK show Celebrity Big Brother, Britain's Daily Mail said Sunday.
The Lohan Train is pulling into "Docu-Soap Station."
The latest Lindsay Lohan rumor making the rounds on the blogosphere claims the scandal-plagued actress' next big role will come as a reality star on Britain's Celebrity Big Brother.
My, how the mighty have fallen.
According to London's Daily Mail, producers of the hit UK series recently flew to Los Angeles to talk with the 25-year-old Playboy centerfold about appearing on the next season of the show.
There's just one minor detail threatening to derail LiLo's Big Brother plans: Her never-ending legal woes.
Lindsay's still on probation, stemming from her arrest for "allegedly" stealing that $2,500 necklace from a Venice jewelry shop earlier this year. She fears the community service requirements ordered as part of her sentence might prevent her from traveling overseas for the program, insiders say.
Big Brother producers, on the other hand, say Lindsay's legal drama -- which also includes busts for drunk driving and drug possession -- only adds to her appeal.
"Lindsay would be an absolutely amazing signing for us," an unnamed source from the show reportedly told The Mail. "She's a fiery character too, so there are sure to be a some major clashes with other celebrities if we get her in the house."
The allegedly cash-strapped Lohan is no stranger to taking unorthodox gigs to support her coke habit pay the bills.
Last summer, Lindsay filmed an ad for Air New Zealand, despite being under house arrest for jewelry theft at the time. The airline, known for its zany advertising, tapped the trouble-prone starlet to film a promotional clip just hours before she appeared in court to face charges of violating the terms of her probation.
The house-bound star also found time to film a super low-budget spot for auction website Beezid.com.
The Celebrity Big Brother franchise routinely heads to U.S. shores in search of bargain bin celebutantes to cast in the series. Reformed wild child Tara Reid starred on the last season of the show. Former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson appeared in the Australian adaptation of the popular series in 2010.
