The Vampire Diaries gets a pretty little liar
It's going to be a wee bit awkward for Paul Wesley on the set of The Vampire Diaries. His wife Torrey DeVitto has been cast and she's got her eye on another man. Read on for the details.
The Vampire Diaries has cast Pretty Little Liars actress, Torrey DeVitto, who also happens to be Paul Wesley's wife, in the role of Mary.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mary, a beautiful and intelligent doctor, becomes intrigued by Alaric's "healing powers."
That's kind of awkward for Paul Wesley. His wife comes to work and takes a shine to another actor's character?
Torrey DeVitto is set to make her TVD debut on Jan. 5, which marks the show's return from holiday hiatus.
She'll be featured in episodes 310 and 311, but The Hollywood Reporter is dishing that she could end up staying in Mystic Falls a little longer.
Aside from Melissa on Pretty Little Liars, her other credits include One Tree Hill and Castle.
DeVitto is also a big-screen beauty. She just wrapped up filming Evidence with Radha Mitchell and Stephen Moyer.
The Vampire Diaries is getting ready to air an explosive midseason finale Thursday, Nov. 10, which marks the return of Klaus (Joseph Morgan) who has been running from Mikael the past two episodes.
What's going to happen when siblings Rebekah and Klaus come face-to-face with their vampire hunter dad (who also happens to be a vampire), Mikael?
You'll have to tune in tomorrow night to find out. Don't forget to check back Thursday morning for our preview of the midseason finale, "Homecoming."
What do you think of Torrey DeVitto's new role in Mystic Falls? Will she fit right into The Vampire Diaries cast or will it be weird since she's married to one of the show's stars?
