Jessica Simpson says her unexpected pregnancy came as a “shock” to her and her fiance Eric Johnson, but they are absolutely delighted by their happy accident — and are still planning a wedding.

After coming clean on the worst-kept secret in the celebrity world, Jessica Simpson finally admits she is pregnant and is happy to talk about it ’til the cows come home. Lucky for us, because she is simply adorable — and remarkably open — about the whole thing.

Simpson sat down with Access Hollywood to talk about her pregnancy and the question of those wedding plans.

“I feel great, I honestly do,” she told Billy Bush.

“Pregnancy is a friend of mine, so everything has been running smoothly. So far, so good — no morning sickness. I feel great. I’m tired, but you know, I’m making a baby here!”

Lucky lady! What symptoms is she having? Just the best ones: “swelling in the belly and boob area,” she revealed.

Simpson even opened up about how she found out the happy news and how she shared it with her very surprised fiance Eric Johnson.

“I did the pregnancy test. I was feeling a little off,” she said. “[I first told] Eric, of course. He was in the house. He didn’t know that I was taking a pregnancy test, so I kind of shocked him. I came in shaking like, ‘Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! This is happening!’ We both cried. We were in shock and kind of just sat there and stared at each other.”

She also reiterated that she will definitely be waiting until after the baby is born before she walks down the aisle for the second time.

“We were going to throw something together, but I’d rather put more time in it and be able to really enjoy the day,” she said. “When you’re pregnant, your hormones go crazy. I don’t want to be super stressed out and end up being a bridezilla! So, I’ll wait until after.”

Jessica Simpson is currently doing the rounds promoting the latest division of her business empire, her new Beauty Mint skincare line.
