Jonah Hill splits from longtime girlfriend
Jonah Hill and Jordan Klein are finished.
Jonah Hill and longtime girlfriend Jordan Klein are no longer together, reports Us Weekly. The split comes as news to many close to the actor since the pair seemed "really happy and in love" over the summer says an Us Weekly source.
So what's the cause for the breakup? Us Weekly said Jordan wasn't willing to travel with Hill for his movie roles and long distance wasn't an option. Their insider says, "I never heard a single complaint. It was probably the traveling. She would always go where he was. Now that she has a stable job, she can't just pick up and leave."
The two met at the Crossroads School, a private college preparatory high school in Santa Monica. Hill, who is now 27, seemed happy as late as September. When asked about the possibility of marriage (to Klein) on Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show, Hill replied, "I don't know, man. She's a good lady." He repeatedly referred to Jordan as his girlfriend throughout Stern's interview. However, Hill did mention the pair have faced their share of issues. "I've had a girlfriend on and off for like four years. When Superbad came out we were off." (Superbad was released in 2007).
Hill has gone through a huge transition this past year. Jonah lost 40lbs for his upcoming role in 21 Jump Street. He credits his decision to get healthy to a desire to change his image and is reflective of a new sense of maturity. In an interview with NY Magazine, he said the man from Superbad has changed considerably.
"Now, I'm almost 28, and I'm growing up in front of strangers. So for me, who I was then is a lot different than who I am now. So being healthier came along with maturity. And it's hard because a lot of times people want you to be the guy you were when they met you. And I love doing funny moves, but I want to mature, literally, in how I treat myself. I'm not living in a frat house with a bong plastered to the table."
No word yet from Jonah Hill's rep on the split from his girlfriend.
