Kim Kardashian made her first trip to Dubai this week, to launch her signature fragrance at the Sephora store in the Dubai Mall and to open the first Millions of Milkshakes store outside of the United States.

Alongside mom Kris Jenner, Kim left heir luxury hotel suite at the ritzy Atlantis The Palms Hotel in Dubai to do a little retail therapy.

Shopping in the gold district, the two were fitted for traditional burqas, which are robes that cover the local women from head to toe.

The duo later went shopping at Marena y Sol and bought some caftans and tunics.

After enjoying some dinner and the sights, it was off to do more work, at the launch of both Kim’s fragrance and the Millions of Milkshakes store, where Kim enjoyed a taste of her signature milkshake.

Despite all her many business ventures, Kim has kids on the brain>>

Said Kim on her Twitter account during her trip, “Seriously, the women in Dubai are sooo gorgeous!! I’m sure @RobKardashian is so jealous he didn’t come w me! WOW these women are beautiful!”

She later told reporters, “I was telling my sisters, we’ve got to start up a hotel in Dubai and design all the different rooms and floors. I like to pay attention to what my fan base is really asking for, whether it’s hair and makeup, clothing brands…everything I think will be successful here and I look forward to getting to know the people here.”

Kim also stated on the Millions of Milkshakes website, “When I was first invited to Dubai I was so excited because I had never been to the middle east. When someone says Dubai I think about this glamorous place in the Middle East and fashion and food, I think about the culture over there which is something I want to embrace. I am so open to different business ventures. I am a businesswoman at the end of the day. I want to see what the business opportunities are.”
