Sara Evans gets a restraining order against her ex
Country singer Sara Evans has filed a restraining order against her ex-husband, saying he “irreparably harmed” their children by talking bad about her on Anderson Cooper’s TV show.
Country superstar Sara Evans has filed a restraining order against her ex-husband Craig Schelske, saying he was bashing her in public, which "caused and will continue to cause irreparable harm to the children."
The bitter custody battle got ugly when Schelske went on Anderson Cooper's show in September and said that he lost custody of their three children together (Avery, 12, Olivia, 8 and Audrey, 7) because Evans accused him of being a porn-obsessed adulterer.
A day after his appearance, Evans filed the restraining order to stop him from talking about their divorce proceedings in public and a judge signed the order the same day.
A source close to the situation said that Schelske plans on taking action."This is a violation of his First Amendment rights, and he won't take it lying down," the unnamed source reveals.
Schelske also says that Evans' lifestyle is a "party atmosphere" and that she had "encouraged and condoned underage drinking."
Evans currently lives in Alabama with her new husband Jay Barker and her three kids, as well as his four kids.
