Who's the one collecting all these pieces? Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. "We never had a house when I was growing up," she tells the magazine. "We always rented. But my father would dream, and we used to look at houses all the time. I'd pick out which bedroom would be mine and get all excited."
The 53-year-old adds, "The first thing I did when I made money was buy a house. And then..."
"Another one," Portia De Rossi interjects in good humor. "And another one and another one and another one."
The pair, who wed in a ceremony in August of 2008, is showing off their Beverly Hills home which sits on three acres. Inside you'll find a collection that includes a large painting by Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, blankets and rugs from various continents and centuries, shoe shelves filled with both sneakers and stilettos and a pool with an enviable view of Los Angeles.
All that can be yours for a cool $49 million. Interested?
