Chord Overstreet moves to The Middle

Chord Overstreet is breaking out of his Sam “Trouty Mouth” Evans’ shell and heading to ABC’s The Middle tonight. Will Glee fans approve?

When a Fox door closes an ABC one opens up — if you’re Chord Overstreet.

Chord Overstreet is no longer a regular player on the Fox show Glee, but don’t expect him to keep his mug off of our TV screens.

The former famous “Trouty Mouth” of Fox is heading to ABC’s The Middle tonight (September 28) to guest-star as a new teacher in Brick’s (Atticus Shaffer) school.

The Middle could be a great opportunity for Chord Overstreet to show us something different compared to his Glee role that made him a household name.

Back on August 23, The Middle star, Patricia Heaton, tweeted the big news that Chord Overstreet was guest-starring on the hit show. She tweeted, “For all you @GLEEonFOX fans, @chordoverstreet is playing Brick’s 4th grade teacher this year on #TheMiddle!”

For those of you not familiar with the show, Patricia Heaton plays Frankie, Brick’s mom.
