Kate Middleton is taking princess lessons
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, is taking lessons on royal life.
Kate Middleton is deep in the thick of princess lessons designed to prepare her for a lifetime of public service.
The Duchess of Cambridge has kept a rather low profile lately. Since her return from the glamorous North American tour she took with Prince William, she's appeared at only one official engagement. It's all part of a bigger plan, says a royal source.
"The Duchess is being briefed on how the State works, getting to know our national institutions better and learning more about organizations such as the arts, the media and the government," the insider told the Telegraph.
"It is a process that will carry on for several months, but is being done privately."
Kate's royal duties will reportedly be kept to around one per month to slowly break her in to being under the microscope of the public eye.
On the roster for Sept.: Prince William and Kate Middleton will open a children's cancer center at a hospital Prince William has been involved with since he was a boy.
The couple is also spending a lot of time together while they can. Prince William is being deployed to the Falkland Islands with his Royal Air Force Search and Rescue squadron next year which is classified as an unaccompanied posting -- meaning Kate will have to stay behind.
