Selma Blair admits she hasn’t lost any baby weight (and we love her for it)
Selma Blair recently said that she hasn’t lost one single pound of baby weight yet - and she's not focused on it right now.
Selma Blair is bucking the trend of Hollywood moms who feel pressured to slip into their size 0 Prada dresses as soon as their baby is born. Blair, who gave birth six weeks ago to her first son Arthur, was spotted looking beautiful at the Venice Film Festival, but admitted she hasn't lost one single pound since leaving the hospital.
"I actually haven't lost any weight since the day I left the hospital," she told Us Weekly. "I still weigh the exact same number. I haven't really been focusing on that at all, because I've been running around to different things like Toronto [International Film Festival] and Venice [Film Festival]."
The 39-year-old actress is busy promoting her new movie, Dark Horse, while caring for her baby boy. Her boyfriend and baby daddy, Jason Bleick, did not come with her to the festival.
Blair, who wore a beautiful emerald green Roland Mouret dress paired with Salvatore Ferragamo pumps, said she plans on eventually doing Pilates and following Alicia Silverstone's diet which shows how to follow a vegan lifestyle.
"I am not fabulous," she told E! News at New York Fashion Week. "It is a mess of Jell-O all over my body. I'm relying on beautiful clothes to mask what is happening to my body. And no, I have not lost any baby weight yet. Any. I'm only six weeks after birth, [but] now I'm at the point where I can exercise, so I will. I will start Pilates again and Bodyline, and I have a trainer. I've been following Alicia Silverstone's diet stuff too."
