Matthew Fox sued over party bus brawl
Matthew Fox is being sued over an incident in which he is accused of physically assaulting a woman on a party bus.
Actor Matthew Fox has been accused of physically assaulting a woman on an Ohio party bus while she says he was very intoxicated -- and now she's suing.
The victim, Heather Borman, claims that Fox punched her in her groin when she blocked him from entering a party bus that had been rented for a bachelor party. An obviously confused Fox, perhaps thinking the bus was actually a hotel shuttle, demanded she take him back to the Ritz-Carlton, and after Borman "politely advised him he was not permitted to board" he tried to force his way past her anyway.
Borman, a sturdy mother of two, tried to block his path -- and that's when she says Fox "suddenly and without provocation... attacked plaintiff with his fists, delivering sudden and severe blows to her right breast, groin, arm and legs, inflicting severe, disabling injury," according to court papers.
Borman says she fought back by "cutting and bloodying his lip, causing him to spit blood." In fact, she says she had to hit him so hard to defend herself that she severely injured her hand and fingers in the process -- necessitating filing the lawsuit.
While Fox was not charged by Ohio police in the incident despite the alleged victim's police report, Borman is seeking compensation in civil court. She is asking for than $25,000 in damages for battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
SheKnows is awaiting comment from Fox's legal team, but so far they are remaining mum on the matter.
