The lucky lady wasn’t there to accept the award in person because she had just been reunited with her kids in London and couldn’t make it back in time for the ceremony.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s character on Glee has become a favorite among Gleeks, prompting the show to bring her back several times.

The competition in her category at the Creative Arts Emmys was stiff.

She was up against the likes of Kristin Chenoweth and Dot-Marie Jones, also from Glee, as well as Cloris Leachman (Raising Hope), Tina Fey (Saturday Night Live) and Elizabeth Banks (30 Rock).

Do you think Gwyneth Paltrow rocked it as Holly Holiday on Glee or did you have a different favorite from the list of nominees?

Cloris Leachman is pretty stellar!
