Gaga gets naked for Bazaar
She is probably the most influential figure in music today, so it's no shock when Lady Gaga does something out of the ordinary, But this time, she so shocked her fans, internet gossip mongers just can't stop talking about it!
Yes, that's Lady Gaga on the cover of the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar. The magazine dared to have Gaga bare all on the cover of their newest issue. The pop magnet, who usually dons lots of creative makeup looks, went au natural for the cover, and her decision has everyone's tongues wagging!
This was a bold move for Gaga, who hides behind her outrageous outfits and makeup as different characters. Most of all, it shocks her fans who never get to see her without extensions, full face makeup and a shocking getup!
Said Gaga to the magazine, "I don't see it as 'natural'. I think that artifice is the new reality. It's more about just being honest and sincere to the core of what you do. Whether I'm wearing lots of makeup or no makeup, I'm always the same person inside."
She continued, "There's this idea that it's all natural. But everything's been staged to look natural. It is also an invention. It's just that my inventions are different. I often get asked about my aritifice, but isn't fashion based on the idea that we can create a fantasy?"
We happen to like this look for Gaga. She looks softer, not as harsh or intimidating. Although we have seen her in some pretty bizarre getups from her fave designers Thierry Mugler and Alexander McQueen (she was quoted by the magazine as saying, "without him I would be naked!") , she would rather be in comfortable clothes, arms wrapped around the one she loves.
About her beloved fans she is quoted as saying, "I try not to focus on what people expect of me. I think what has been lovely about my relationship with the public is that they expect something unexpected of me. I'm very free-spirited. Even when I was a kid, I used to run around naked with the babysitter, driving her crazy!"
According to Gaga, we all need to, "Look into the future and enjoy the ride."
