Carla Bruni will hide her baby
Carla Bruni will hide her baby from the media spotlight, she says.
French first lady Carla Bruni Sarkozy plans to keep her baby hidden and protected from the harsh glare of the media, says the expectant mom.
The beautiful brunette, who only announced her pregnancy this summer, is keeping mum on her due date and the gender of her baby and says we'll be lucky if we ever lay eyes on the little one.
"You don't have a child for the gallery," Bruni said in an interview on French television.
"I understand the media interest (but) for children it's not possible.
"I will do everything to protect this infant and I'll be absolutely rigorous. I will never show photos of this child, I will never expose this child," she said.
Guess that means her hubby, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, won't be using cozy family portraits to raise his popularity rating during next year's elections.
Bruni and Sarkozy married in February 2008. She confirmed her pregnancy in July after months of public speculation over her burgeoning baby bump and a confession by her own father-in-law. This is their first child together.
