Cindy Crawford turned heads at the Venice Film Festival in a gorgeous one-shouldered gown and flawless skin. What is her secret to turning back the hands of time?
Supermodel and mom Cindy Crawford, 45, dazzled at the 68th Venice Film Festival in a beaded Roberto Cavalli gown accessorized with Chopard jewels.
Crawford attended The Ides of March premiere with her husband, Rande Gerber, to support their buddy George Clooney. The couple is actually staying at Clooney’s Lake Como villa in Italy and was spotted frolicking on his boat earlier in the day.
What is Crawford’s secret to turning back the hands of time? The mom of two opened up to Ladies Home Journal last year about plastic surgery.
When I was 30 I might have said, ‘I’m just going to age in a way that honors time and is completely natural,’ but I’m no longer so highbrow about it,” she admitted. “I’ve tried Botox but it scares me. Plastic surgery is really scary, but as long as you don’t use these things to change your face, I think it’s OK. Ultimately, I don’t expect to look the way that I used to because at best that would be deeply frustrating.”
Crawford told Gala magazine that in addition to Botox, she has also received injections. “I’m not going to lie to myself: past a certain age, creams work on the texture of your skin but, in order to restore elasticity, all I can really count on is vitamin injections, Botox and collagen.”
Whatever she’s using, she looks amazing!
