Alexander Skarsgard: No, I won't bite you
Alexander Skarsgard would like to remind his female fans that he's not a vampire -- he just plays (a hot) one on television.
There are two big differences between Alexander Skarsgard and his True Blood character, Eric Northman. First: Skarsgard is not a vampire. Second? He's not 1,000-years-old, either.
Duh, right? Both Skarsgard and his on-screen alter-ego are smoking hot, but that's where the similarities end. However, some of his fans refuse to accept it and ask him to bite them, True Blood style.
"That's one thing I'll never really understand. But the main reason I don't ever do it is because if I do it just once, every single person will be like, 'Bite me! Bite me! Bite me!'" Skarsgard told Blackbook magazine.
We get it. However, he doesn't think humans are that much different from our four-legged counterparts.
"Humans are animals," he said. "And like other animals we struggle between instinct and rationality. Of course I believe we've evolved, but I think it'd be naïve to claim we're nothing like the rest of the animals with whom we share the planet. At the end of the day, we're nothing but frappuccino-sipping savages."
Pretty sure we'd have a frappuccino with Skarsgard no matter if he was human, vampire or savage. Grrr.
