Who needs the gym when you’ve got a spot on Dancing with the Stars season 13? Rob Kardashian is the latest celebrity looking to shed the pounds by foregoing the gym routine for a turn on the dance floor.
“You probably wouldn’t know, but I’m the most insecure and overweight I’ve ever been,” Rob Kardashian, often seen on the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, confessed. “I really want to get into shape.”
How much weight does the 24-year-old, pictured here on Aug. 10, have to lose? “I’m over 200 pounds,” Rob admitted. “I want to drop weight and this will be a good start.”
Step one? Figuring out how to dance! Of the long training road ahead Rob Kardashian tells Us Weekly, “I’m not a confident dancer at all. And down the road… I don’t want to be that guy who doesn’t dance at his own wedding!”
The good news for Rob is the rigorous Dancing with the Stars competition has proven weight loss results. Most notably season 12 contestant Kirstie Alley, who at the age of 60 lost a staggering 38 inches during the show’s season.
