America’s got Talent: the semi-finals begin!

Opera, danger and glow in the dark costumes — you’ll find it all on the semifinals of America’s Got Talent.

You won’t find the dog that “peed” on Piers Morgan–Gabe Rocks–on the semifinals of America’s Got Talent, but there’s a whole lot of talent to unleash, so let’s get to it!

12 of the semi-final acts battled it out to move on to the top ten. With only five spots open this week, we had a tough time choosing who to highlight, so we chose seven of our favorites — there’s no way we could limit it to five.

Beth Ann Robinson gave another flawless dance performance, but solo dance acts don’t have the best track record of staying in the competition long.

We highlighted her because she has the ability to transform dance into a story and fully deserves to move on. If she doesn’t, she should jump networks to Fox — hint, hint…

Poplyfe is going to surpass a show in Las Vegas and head straight for best new band in America. They took on a hard song with Come Together, but they put their own flare to it, which is hard to do with an iconic song like that. See for yourself…

West Springfield Dance Team put scary, creepy dance moves to a weird Ozzy Osbourne mix and we were oddly okay with it. Sharon Osbourne is a huge fan of this crew– check out their video and tell us if you are…

Team iLuminate is a million dollar act, there’s no doubt about that. We’d pay to see them light up their costumes and tell a story with dance. We’ve beamed about them since the beginning, so we won’t bore you with more words. Watch for yourself…

Daniel Joseph Baker is a wild card for us. He’s not technically the best singer, but he is a Vegas personality.

He’s got a way of pairing vulnerability with big, puffy-sleeved costumes — it makes us want to watch him. Did his simple piano performance wow you like it wowed us, this week? Relive the Baker experience…

We normally don’t do this, but we’re giving a sixth and seventh video highlight to two other acts, well, because we can.

The Miami All Stars are like watching something out of West Side Story. Okay, they do something different each time, so maybe they’re not always West Side Story-esque — more like a choreographed movie. Watch them sizzle — even Piers Morgan was on his feet!

Picture Evanescence’s Bring Me To Life being sung in an operatic voice and you’ve got our last act — Lys Agnes. We can’t even explain how insanely good she is. You just have to watch…

Who was your favorite America’s Got Talent act this week?
