Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith headed for a split?
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are separated? Say it isn't so!
The reports of trouble in the Smith marriage paradise can be traced back toIn Touch Weekly, who claim to have information from an anonymous inside source. Their brief, undetailed report reads:
After 13 years of marriage, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have decided to separate, an insider tells In Touch Weekly exclusively. They have two children, Jaden and Willow, together. And Jada is stepmother to Will's son, Trey, from a previous marriage.
SheKnows has reached out to Will Smith's rep for comment on the separation report, but has yet to hear back. A rep for Jada Pinkett Smith doesn't appear to be in the know either, telling TMZ early this morning, "What? In Touch said that? I know nothing about this ... Lord. I'm going back to bed."
In 2008 Will Smith spoke about the topic of divorce while appearing on The Ellen Show. "What I found is divorce just can't be an option," the 42-year-old said. "It's really that simple. And I think that's the problem with L.A. – there are so many options. So a huge part of the success for [Jada] and I is that we just removed the other options."
However Jada admitted in June that along with enjoying spontaneous sex their relationship has its problem areas. The actress told Piers Morgan, "We have arguments and we have our disagreements and we have our debates. You know, we have our problems. I mean, it's not perfect in the sense that we don't have any issues. It's not an easy marriage."
