Lady Gaga's sex & drugs interview with Howard Stern
Lady Gaga talked sex, drugs and rock n' roll on The Howard Stern Show. What new shocking revelations did the pop star make?
The Howard Stern Show is known for its raunchy conversations with stars, and Lady Gaga's appearance yesterday was no different. The pop star -- who counts Stern himself as one of her little monsters -- dove right into the juicy stuff, spilling on her past and present drug use (there's a difference!), her sex life and how she does not want her young fans to follow in her scandalous footsteps.
"My past using any drugs or dressing any certain way was never a rebellion, it was never meant to be a [expletive] you," Lady Gaga told Howard Stern.
"I was so unhappy," she explained. "Yeah. I think that I was lonely and there was something about the drugs that made me feel like I had a friend... I didn't do it with other people. I did it alone. I did it all alone in my apartment and I wrote music and you know what, I regret every line I ever did. So to any of the little sweethearts that are listening, don't touch it, it's the devil."
Today Lady Gaga is clean -- or, almost clean. Pot doesn't count. When Stern asked her about smoking a joint every now and then, Gaga laughed, "Well, come on, that's not..."
"I really don't do it very often. I'm really honest about it."
Lady Gaga is currently feuding with Bette Midler, but that isn't affecting her sex life. Her between-the-sheets action is not too shabby, despite her on-again, off-again relationship with Luc Carl. "I got laid last night," she said.
But don't think for a minute that Lady Gaga wants you to emulate her wild past.
"I've got a lot of young fans," she told Stern.
"I love you and I respect this show and I know you want to talk about sex and cocaine and all of that, but the truth is I don't want anyone doing drugs, a, and b, honestly you should wait as long as you can to have sex, because as a woman you don't even begin to enjoy it until your mid-20s. When you're 17, you don't even know how to operate what's going on down there and you shouldn't try."
Amen to that.
