Nick Lachey hit Vegas with a big group for a fun bachelor party that included the old ball and chain. Keep reading for details and bachelor party pictures!

nick-lachey-and-drew-lachey-taoNick Lachey followed in his fiancé Vanessa Minnillo’s footsteps for his bachelor party. The soon-to-be married singer partied in Las Vegas over the Fourth of July weekend.

Almost 30 of Lachey’s friends and family members joined him in Vegas for the bachelor party, including his brother Drew Lachey, former 98 Degrees bandmate Justin Jeffre, Houston Texans quarterback Matt Leinart and actor Geoff Stults.

The bachelor and his buddies had dinner at Tao, followed by an evening of dancing and partying at the nightclub.

Lachey was presented with a ball and chain… but not in the form of his fiancé! Gimme Some Sugar created a custom ball and chain cake, a playful reference to Minnillo’s announcement at her bachelorette party at Lavo just a few weeks ago: “I’m about to get a ball and chain.” The ball on Nick’s cake was cleverly inscribed with “Property of Vanessa.”

The group also hung out at Tao Beach during the day.

Nick and his pals didn’t get too crazy. Instead, he enjoyed the fun time with his friends. “When you get to this point in life, you know, I’m 37, and my college roommates from two different universities, all my high school friends, [have] all [moved] on in life,” Lachey told Us. “A lot of these guys have kids and don’t see each other as much as we used to, so this is an opportunity — or an excuse, really — to get together and tie one on for old time’s sake.”

While we don’t know the exact date of Lachey and Minnillo’s wedding, it has to be getting close. Minnillo had her bachelorette party a few weeks ago and the couple had their wedding shower at the end of May. Whenever the wedding occurs, you’ll be able to watch it because Minnillo and Lachey will get married on TV. Their nuptials will be televised on a TLC special: Nick and Vanessa’s Dream Wedding.
