Emily Maynard and Brad Womack join the ever-growing list of reality show couples that have bit the dust. The Bachelor couple has announced they have split. What happened? And will Bentley make his move on the newly single Emily?

After a fairytale engagement on the season finale of The Bachelor, Emily Maynard and Brad Womack have ended their relationship for good.

Maynard, 25, confirmed the news to People, saying: "We're no longer engaged." The single mom is ready to put this behind her and move on in life with her six-year-old daughter, Ricki. She was reportedly tired of all the paparazzi and media attention and was ready to "move on and get back to normal."

So, what happened? Womack, 38, is taking full responsibility, saying, "The demise of our relationship was completely my fault." He confesses his temper and the distance drove a wedge between them.

"I would get so angry and would feel almost violated. I would keep those feelings bottled up, and by the time I had the chance to speak to Em... I would let that negative emotion come flooding out, and it was almost as if she was being attacked. Distance didn't allow me the opportunity to simply put my arms around her after a disagreement and admit that I'm wrong. Maybe at the end of the day she needs someone that handles situations differently than I do... Those questions will haunt me forever," he told Hollywood Life.

So, what's next for Maynard? Will she be the next Bachelorette? Or will Bentley Williams make his move? Williams famously (or infamously) dissed Ashley Hebert on this season of The Bachelorette, calling her an "ugly duckling" and saying he had hoped the "breathtakingly beautiful" Maynard would have been the bachelorette instead of Hebert.

Maynard's response? After seeing what he did to Hebert, she called him "hurtful" and "mean-spirited."

"If I were Bentley, I would certainly be sleeping with one eye open," Maynard quipped. Ouch!

If he plans on wooing Maynard, he better start practicing his sweet-talking.
