Lindsay Lohan is a free woman after serving 35 days of house arrest.
Lindsay Lohan can come and go as she pleases once more. The star has completed her 35 days of house arrest, during which time she tanned on her roof, threw parties and ingested things that caused her to test positive for alcohol.
A representative from Sentinel Electronic Monitoring showed up at Lohan’s Venice, California beach pad this morning to remove her ankle bracelet, and she was officially released at 10:20 a.m.
Lohan was sentenced to jail time — converted to house arrest because of overcrowding — for violating her probation and allegedly stealing a necklace from a local jeweler.
Lohan is not completely off the hook yet. She is still on probation and must complete 480 hours of community service, as well as a shoplifters alternative class and undergo psychiatric counseling.
What’s on Lindsay’s agenda today? She will jump right back into the community service she started before her house arrest, volunteering at a local women’s shelter.
