Lauren Conrad and actor Kyle Howard have called it quits after three years together. What went wrong?
Reality star and Paper Crown designer Lauren Conrad and My Boys actor Kyle Howard ended their relationship the same way it started — quietly.
Introduced to each other by her ex-boyfriend Brody Jenner in 2008, Conrad, 24, and Howard, 33, “amicably parted ways” with sources saying it was a “mutual decision” and “no third parties were involved.”
That sounds like a boring season of The Hills! There was no other woman? No blow-out fights? It sounds like the duo sat down and had a very mature, adult-like conversation to end their relationship after three years together. Sigh. Oh well, it doesn’t make for an exciting read, but at least the couple seems like they are happily going their separate ways.
The former Hills star just refuted rumors that the duo was “secretly engaged,” saying “this is totally false.” Conrad is private about her personal life and confessed to Seventeen that “by the time I had met Kyle, I had already perfected my ‘double life.’ There was my TV life and my real life.”
Conrad seems to be taking the breakup in stride by re-connecting with nature. “Epp! 2nd day in a row I have almost stepped on a snake while hiking!” she tweeted today.
