Jason Segel stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman to talk about his new movie, Bad Teacher, and show off his recent weight loss.

Jason Segel has made a career out of playing funny -- and adorably chubby -- characters in movies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall. However, the actor recently lost 30 lbs. off his 245-pound frame after seeing a disturbing photo of himself covered in Taco Bell wrappers.

"My lowest moment came [when] I shot a movie in New Orleans," the Bad Teacher star told Dave Letterman. "New Orleans is like, the best food and booze anywhere... I really took advantage of it."

Until the day his assistant snapped a photo of Segel in a food-induced coma.

"Unfortunately, my assistant had a key to my room in case I overslept," Segel said. "She came in one day to wake me up and she took a bunch of pictures to show me what I had become."

The result was a photo of Segel with his flabby belly exposed.

"Honest to God, Jason, this looks like a crime scene!" Letterman told the comedian. Luckily, he managed to lose the weight and showed off his newly-trim look on Letterman.
